As I continue to rave about governments failure to educate

the masses about the truth behind e-cigarettes and eLiquids, today I have some nice words for one of those alphabet soup organizations, the CDC.  If you check out this nifty infographic they put together, it's a pretty fair and balanced message.  In this writers humble opinion they overblow the addictiveness of nicotine, but whatever, they are wading through the miasma of misinformation and trying their best.  Which again, is in stark contrast to the doom, gloom, and kaboom campaigns everyone else and their mom is currently portraying.

The whole pdf as I stated, is honestly upfront about the information it's trying to provide.  The first page, first sentence is: "E-cigarettes have the potential to benefit adult smokers who are not pregnant if used as a complete substitute for regular cigarettes and other smoked tobacco products." Which is a clear and upfront message, rare in these days of vape and eLiquid fear and phobia.

The second page I also like, it poses the question "Are e-cigarettes less harmful than regular cigarettes?" And it answers the question with a large emphatic YES!  Simply amazing to get this level of traction against the mountain of filth that the eLiquid and vape industry faces from a faceless government organization, it's truly refreshing.

The only criticism I have for this infographic is that it shows the stats of the youth that is using eLiquids and vapes, which is less than 4.5% of middle school students and less than 12% of high school students.  Then it completely drops the ball and omits the fact that combustible tobacco consumption is down because of this.  It's a small chide but a sharp one, because if you're going to say that eLiquids and vapes are an emphatic yes to being safer, you might want to also mention the more dangerous option is in the decline.
