Vaping Vitamins?

Several companies are selling what are basically eLiquid "alternatives" that let you inhale vitamins, essential oils, herbal supplements and who knows what else. A few companies have embraced what they see as a vape trend, and they all seem to be honing their niches into various specific things to vape on. 

One company focuses on vitamin B-12 that is around ten times the normal amount found in say a standard supplemental. Another one sells what they are pitching as "enhanced air" and it contains "up to 500 inhalations of Vitamin A, B2, B6, B12, C, D, E & CoQ10. Each Vitamin Stick formula is further enhanced with Organic Therapeutic Essential Oils, Extracts and Holistic Wellness Herbs." Wowee, that's a mouthful, and in this case, literally. 

We know now that the vaping is more than just a trend, eLiquids and eJuices are here to stay, but that also means we'll have to acknowledge other inhalation products will be coming to market. Who knows what will come out, but it always starts with the focus on health and then everybody and their mom is trying to get onto the bandwagon.  Even though we have a gastrointestinal track whose sole purpose is to break down, absorb, and metabolize vitamins and nutrients, people are still going to want to give this a try.

I can see the future headlines now; "Vitamin Vaping Epidemic!" and "Top 10 ways to tell if your teen inhaling drugs in their school bathrooms or just essential oils and vitamins."
