What steeping is and why you might or might not do it.

For some vapers, they swear that steeping brings out the best flavor of the eLiquid and improves the overall vaping experience. This is not a required thing, but when you vape an eLiquid straight from the bottle, the juice may or may not have had time to fully relax it's flavor.

Steeping eLiquids allows for the mixing of the VG/PG base, flavorings, and nicotine, and then oxidizes the juice to remove the alcohol. The process of oxidation, while removing the alcohol, and also typically darkens the color of the liquid.

Steeping is all about the age and taste quality of your juice. If you're a DIYer who likes to make your own eLiquid, you would definitely want to steep it, or it will probably have a chemicaly taste. If you have bought Northland, Borealis, or Foggy Morning, it began steeping from the moment it was bottled and has been sitting and steeping ever since.  That's why we put the born on date right on the bottle!

Our premium eLiquids chilled at our wonderful facility just waiting for you to order, they shook and sat during the travel to your doorstep, and it may sit there depending on how ready you are for its use.

If you have a flavor that comes off as too powerful or overwhelming, perhaps something that tastes too sweet, tart, or even bitter; steeping is the solution.  Always be aware that steeping lighter flavors, like very sweet and fruity flavors, can cause them to lose their flavor altogether.

There are many approaches on how to steep eLiquid, but the simplest method involves storing the liquid in a dark, cool place for a few weeks, with occasional shaking and exposure to air for oxidation.

Interestingly enough, you do not need to steep Nic Salts due to the nature of compound formation.
